International exchange – even in times of corona

Exciting exchange at CITEXT 2020 in France: that was the plan and that is how it happened – even under the strict pandemic conditions.

Contacts, ideas, inspirations

For two days at the contact trade fair in Troyes on the Seine, we held detailed discussions with representatives of our customers, interested parties and suppliers. Our discussion partners came from very different industries – from aviation to medical technology. Supported by pictures, videos and samples, we have opened up a comprehensive insight into the world of narrow textile JUMBO solutions. We got to know new textile partners, presented new ideas for solutions, agreed on new projects.

CITEXT 2020 – Encounter and enrichment – under new conditions

Like everything else in life at the moment, CITEXT 2020 was characterised by coronavirus measures. But distances, time limits and masks have only influenced the exchange on the surface. In essence, the trade fair has fulfilled its purpose: personal encounter, professional enrichment. We held video calls with individual customers who did not come in person – directly at the trade fair stand. At least they were able to experience the atmosphere of the trade fair live on screen.

“As a solution partner for innovative narrow textiles, it is important for us to remain in direct dialogue with our international partners,” emphasises Marc Lienkamp, Sales Manager New Business at JUMBO-Textil. “We are delighted that we managed to make all this possible, even in 2020. More than 20 expert discussions over two days – it was an intensive trade fair: perhaps also because everyone involved really looked out for each other.
