Ready-for-assembly solutions from JUMBO-Textil for vehicle interiors

Whether in cars, buses or trucks, trains or planes: textile components perform important tasks in our means of transport. They secure utensils, stretch seat upholstery, close flaps, adjust seat heights … JUMBO-Textil develops complex textile components for vehicle interiors from high-quality cords, tapes and nets. Components made from JUMBO cords, tapes or nets offer a quiet, lightweight and highly functional alternative to elements made from heavier materials such as metal or plastic.

Functional and flexible design

Take, for example, our functional tape for tensioning, holding and fixing. The combination tape made of elastic braided buttonhole elastic and non-elastic woven tape is used as a lightweight and invisible flap holder. The sewn-on plastic profile serves as a retainer. The defined holes in the elastic are already interlaced during the braiding process. This ensures the high functionality of the textile solution.

Equally highly functional: our utensil net for magazines, water bottles, tablets and everything else that needs to be stored neatly and kept handy when on the move. The colour and design of the elastic net with fastening elements are tailored to the vehicle interior.
