Narrow textiles for the protection and rescue technologies of tomorrow

Safeguarding tomorrow. Under this motto, experts from the fields of fire services, rescue services and civil protection came together at Interschutz in Hanover at the beginning of June. The industry engaged in intensive exchange on the latest developments in protection and rescue technologies. As a member of the Textation Group, we at JUMBO-Textil were also present. For six days, we presented our elastic and non-elastic narrow textiles with a wide range of protective functions – such as UV protection, flame retardancy or heat protection – as well as our textile securing and attachment solutions to a professional audience. At the same time, we were able to explore current and future requirements and possible applications together with representatives from the rescue technology and fire protection sectors.

Particularly impressive: the complete field hospital set up by the German Red Cross on the exhibition grounds. Insights into rescue services like these are not something you see every day.
