We’re moving: From 1st December 2016 onwards you will find us at our new location in Sprockhövel.
We’ve done it: Just 14 months after setting out on this mission, on 1st December 2016 JUMBO will be moving into the new company headquarters in Sprockhövel. A new construction has been built on the 13,500 square-metre site at Stennert where everything is just right: working conditions, production technology, transport links – and the aesthetics. After all, the eye is part of the process of working.
Innovative production technology
The systems in the area of production are state-of-the-art and facilitate the most innovative manufacturing process for developing and producing technical textiles. The spacious casino and a rooftop terrace invite people to enjoy themselves, exchange with others or simply to relax. And it isn’t just the 65 employees that benefit from the perfect motorway links at the textile company’s new headquarters, but also customers, suppliers and visitors. Timelessly and subtly – the JUMBO expertise in technical textiles, nets and textile components is also becoming architecturally visible: Various surface qualities characterise the new construction’s façade in Sprockhövel.
Room for growth
“Our new construction ensures even greater energy efficiency, increased production capacity, greater efficiency of processes and top quality textile solutions. Our Quality Management department is monitoring this process of change and we will of course conduct a certification process for the new location.” Managing Partner of JUMBO-Textil GmbH Andreas Kielholz names the goals of the 7-million investment. “Furthermore: JUMBO wants to and can grow here. The new site offers space more and more.”

New site. New building. New systems. New work spaces. New casino. The relocation of JUMBO’s headquarters involves a great deal of change.
